How to launch & run your Mayhemic Models vault

Step-by-step for first-time hosts

Back to home

1. What you are creating

Mayhemic Models is your private creator site: a feed, a chat lounge, a VIP Theatre, and an admin dashboard. Launching does not copy demo fans or fake likes. You start empty and build it.

After launch your public link looks like:

https://the-website-you-picked/s/your-slug/

2. Sign up fields

On the launch page fill every box. They are not the same thing.

Your name
Your real name for the operator. Fans do not see this unless you reuse it as the display name.
Email
Where we can reach you. Use an inbox you check. This is also how password reset works later.
Display name (public)
The name fans see in chat and on your profile. Example: Velvet Rose.
Username (login)
What you type to sign in. Letters, numbers, underscore. Example: velvet_rose. 3–24 characters. This is not your public URL.

3. Choose a website from the dropdown

The dropdown is labeled Hosting zone. A zone is a domain already attached to this service (example: mayhemicmodels.com).

  • Pick the site you want fans to visit.
  • Only zones the operator enabled appear in the list.
  • If you only see one option, use that one.

The live preview under the slug box updates when you change the zone.

4. What a slug is and how to pick one

A slug is the short name in your URL after /s/. It is how fans find your vault on that website.

https://mayhemicmodels.com/s/maya-after-dark/

In that example the slug is maya-after-dark.

  • Use lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes only.
  • 3 to 32 characters. No spaces, no @, no emoji.
  • Make it easy to say out loud. Avoid random numbers if you can.
  • The page checks if it is free as you type. Green = you can claim it. Amber = taken — try another.
  • First person to claim a slug keeps it. You cannot reuse a taken slug on another zone.

When the preview looks right, tap Launch vault once and wait. Do not mash the button.

5. Temporary password, then a real one

When launch finishes you get three things on the same screen:

  1. Vault URL — open this to enter your site.
  2. Username — the login name you chose.
  3. Temporary password — a one-time password the system created.

Write the temporary password down before you leave that page. It is not emailed twice.

Then:

  1. Open the vault URL.
  2. Sign in with your username and the temporary password.
  3. Go to your profile / account settings immediately.
  4. Set a new password you will remember. Write that one down too.

You are the first person in, so you are the admin of this vault.

6. Customize your vault

In the top bar open Customize (purple admin tabs). This is only visible when you are signed in as admin.

  • Title, tagline, creator name, handle, bio — what fans read on the feed.
  • Fonts and colors — pick a font from the list. Use the color chips or the color picker. The # code updates so you can copy it.
  • Photos and videos — upload into the media library (stored on R2). After upload you get a URL you can paste into creator photo, banner, or a post.
  • Your avatar — use the avatar upload, not only the feed logo.
  • VIP subscription price — set the monthly amount here. Feed and subscribe screens use this number after you tap Save.
  • Payment methods — Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, crypto, etc. Fans need at least one method turned on before tips or paid checkout can finish.
  • Promo codes — optional free-VIP codes with a use limit and expiration.

Tap Save customization or the changes stay only on that screen.

7. Set up posts (Studio)

Open Studio. Publish photos, video, or text.

  • Mark a post free if everyone signed in can see it.
  • Mark a post paid / VIP to lock it behind subscription.
  • Anonymous visitors see the free feed only.
  • Free members can like and comment on free posts. Paid posts stay locked until they upgrade or you promote them to VIP.

8. Videos in the main lounge

Open Lounge and stay in the main room. You (admin) see an upload area for the shared display screen.

  • Upload one video at a time. Wait for the percent bar to finish so you do not stack three copies.
  • Signed-in members see the same screen. They can play, pause, scrub, and stop.
  • You can take a video down and put a new one up. It updates live.
  • Optional: set an expiration so the clip disappears when the timer ends.
  • Recordings and uploads also land in Customize → media library, where you can delete them.

The waiting room is chat-only until you admit someone to main. If they tap Main too early they get “wait to be accepted into the main theater room.” When you approve them they are sent into main automatically.

9. VIP Theatre — live stream

VIP Theatre is live camera, not the uploaded lounge tape. Only VIP members (paid or promoted) plus you can enter. Maximum 4 viewers at a time.

  1. Sign in as admin and open Lounge → VIP.
  2. Allow camera and microphone when the browser asks.
  3. Start the stream from your admin controls. You are the publisher.
  4. Viewers see you. They cannot broadcast back.
  5. You can record the session from your side and save it into the media library for later editing or replay.
  6. When the room is full, extra VIPs wait. Time limits apply if there is a line.

If video will not connect on some phones, the site tries Cloudflare TURN after STUN. Viewers still need a stable connection.

10. Allow people into rooms

Each member has a chat access level: waiting, main, or VIP.

  • Open Users.
  • Find the person.
  • Move them to main so they leave the waiting room.
  • Promote a signed-up free member to VIP if you want to gift Theatre access without a payment.
  • You cannot promote someone who never created an account.

11. Ban, suspend, resume, delete

Also in Users:

Suspend
Temporarily blocks login. You can turn this off.
Resume
Restores a suspended or banned person.
Ban
Hard block. They should not get back in until you resume them.
Delete
Removes the account. Their username and email become free so they could sign up again as a brand-new free user. This is the only action that frees the name. You cannot delete your own admin account or the last admin.

In Lounge you can delete individual comments in waiting, main, and VIP. In Customize → media library you can delete photos and videos.

Admin does not see Tip or VIP Pass on their own dashboard. Those are for fans. You set the VIP price in Customize instead of subscribing to yourself.

12. Message the super admin if you get stuck

Open the purple Support tab in your vault. That is a private ticket with the platform operator only. Other vaults cannot read it.

  • Type the problem in plain language. Include your slug and what you already tried.
  • You will see if support is active, and a “typing…” line when they reply.
  • A short beep plays when a new message arrives.

13. Tips, VIP price, and promo codes

  • Fans who are signed in tap Tip, pick $5 / $10 / $20 / $50 / $100 or a custom amount, pick a payment method, then Continue to payments.
  • VIP Pass only shows for signed-in free members. After they pay or you promote them, that button hides so they are not asked to subscribe twice.
  • Promo codes are created in Customize. The fan must already be signed in, then they enter the code on Subscribe to skip the payments page.

14. If you get stuck

  • Slug taken — pick another. Dashes are fine: maya-live.
  • Forgot the temp password — use Support, or the operator can issue a reset from Users.
  • Page looks old after an update — hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R).
  • Camera blocked — check the browser address-bar lock icon and allow camera/mic for VIP Theatre.
  • VIP room full — only 4 viewers. Others wait their turn.
  • Upload looks frozen — watch the percent bar. Do not tap upload again until it finishes.
